Over the last few years, I have poured a huge amount of time and dedication into perfecting my yoga craft - studying what each movement style has to offer, deconstructing patterns and uncovering the essence of true self, through philosophy and self enquiry.

My journey so far has been rewarding and I have so much to share with those willing to embark on this liberating path - to help them to experience all the amazing benefits of yoga, for the mind, body and soul.

 

the beginning…..

I stumbled upon yoga when I was at a point in my life where I felt lost, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with myself. I had just lost my dad and returned back from travels in Australia. Everyone around me seemed to have their lives together, but I felt like I was light years behind. I felt stuck. I knew there was something out there for me that would spark that burning passion and give purpose to my life.

I know it sounds clichéd, but when I discovered yoga, it really changed me for the better. It freed me from my own limitations and little did I know, it would lead me to where I am today.

From the moment my first ever class made me feel a mix of emotions - a spark ignited - I knew I wanted to dive head first to expand my awareness and understanding of yoga.  It was the movement that initiated my love for the practice, then I felt myself opening up to the spiritual knowledge too.

I believe yoga can trigger a desire in us, to keep peeling back layers of ourselves, to gain more understanding and self awareness. The physical aspect of it is amazing, it feels so rewarding and challenging, but ultimately it is so much more than that and everyone’s journey is unique.

my training

I have undergone extensive hours of training, with advanced teacher trainings, self practise and study. I believe each time you think you’ve reached the mountain peak, there is another one to climb. It is never about the end result, nor should we attach ourselves to it, but rather it is the path we take to climb. The journey reveals so much about ourselves along the way that we never thought possible.
